Not my favorite but got better

I elected to give this only a 3 because I thought the book was a little slow in the beginning and didn't care much for the mental hospital portion of the book. Seemed a little disjointed. Once that portion was over the book got better.

Great Series But a Bad Book

Uninspired with a ridiculous plot and a bunch of pseudo psychology. A poor attempt to make a political point about the CIA and big government. The first Baldacci book that fails at all levels. Flipped through pages in the hope it would get better but it never does. A waste of precious reading time. I love the King and Maxwell series and David Baldacci but, everyone is entitled to at least one failure and this is Baldacci's.

In this story, like the previous one, you get to know more about the leading character ... in this case, Michelle.

Ended rapidly, a little to quick for me, but a good ending.

Very useful compilation of lab procedure and basic theory

I found this book very useful for myself, a fairly new researcher without much background in the enzymology field. One of the best things about this summary is the complete and detailed bibliography that is included for each procedure and area of study discussed.

Great information on Vegan Bodybuilding

Before finding this book I did as I always have and just tried to keep fit and healthy with the information I gathered from the internet without much success.

When I saw this book I was so excited being a vegan almost all of the bodybuilding programs involve eating meat which it something I refuse to do. This book was so easy to follow and the diagrams showing workout moves for the 4 week training program are well illustrated which made it really easy for me to understand what I needed to do.

I loved the recipes my favourite one is the grilled Mediterranean vegetable on white bean mash which has now become one of my favourite meals, all the ingredients for the recipes are easy get hold of as I got all the ingredients from one shop plus the chillies which I grow myself.

Another part I found useful was the vegan bodybuilder’s diet plan that I found had some great tips. With the help of this book I was able to create my own workout program that’s works for me and I was able to change it slightly to suit my needs.

The FAQ section of the book really helped me understand the type of program I was about to start and just gave me that little bit more confidence to try and implement the ideas in the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a vegan and wants to start bodybuilding of just keep fit without eating meat.

The real deal

This book has been just what I have been looking for! Over the last few years, I have been searching for a realistic approach to vegan bodybuilding. Let's face it, there isn't a ton of information out there, and most of the stuff that is just isn't that great. Nothing has worked for me at least. Sculpting the perfect body while remaining vegan just sounded impossible...up until I read this book.

As a person just getting started on this plan, I can say that I KNOW this is going to work for me. Everything a person needs to know is spelled out, including supplements, meal plans and recipes. Just a fantastic resource! I don't want to really admit how much money I have spent on other plans and programs, but I will say that the price of this book is an absolute steal. Others will charge you way more for way less information...mostly stuff that doesn't work. If you are looking to develop a fantastic body while remaining vegan, download this book now!

Explores two neglected mathematical tools essential for competing successfully in today's frenzied commodities markets: quantity, which shows the proper amounts a trader should trade for a given market and system, and intercorrelation of returns (diversification), which shows not only which markets and systems to trade, but how to diversify with respect to trading the right quantities for each market. By using these lesser known tools in conjunction with the more popular trade/system selection tools, readers will see mathematically how success in the markets can be achieved, and how ``success'' without using all three is most likely incidental. In addition, non-stationary distribution of profits and losses and drawdowns are incorporated into the discussions to expose traders to the highs and lows of commodities markets and how best to leverage their assets.

Classic and essential

I couldn't have went more from someone who wanted to understand how to think about position sizing of a strategy to someone who had gotten into this mindset while reading this book.

If you hear about a "probability mindset" being essential to good trading than to me the thinking in this book is an essential element to that mindset.

Excellent coverage of a difficult topic

... this book is incredible. I have a degree in mathematics and the principles expressed are extremely sound -- but far more important than the formulas are the first couple of chapters which cause you to view trading in a very different, and statistical, manner. Although the theories in this book can really only be applied to a trading system (which I haven't really used), after reading this book over several times I understand that there is a mathematical certainty that I will eventually lose my trading capital if I don't start approaching trading in a more systematic fashion. Anyway, I highly recommend it -- the sections on gambling theory alone are worth buying it.
